Lenovo is one of the best and top laptop manufacturing brands for the past few years. But the prices of the Lenovo laptops are a bit high as compared with other laptop brands.

Even at high prices still, customers are buying Lenovo laptops because of their design and stylish manufacturing.

The Lenovo laptops are perfectly fit in business-class laptops with some trendy looks.

Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Design:

The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 has a pleasant and formulated design which makes it more attractive, than the other laptop brands.

But this laptop has some plastic nature and it looks not too good at the built quality. But this laptop does justice according to their prices.

If you need better-built quality and more features laptop, then you must need to increase your budget according to your convenience.

Display & Screen Resolution:

The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 comes with a 14-inch display, which frequent travelers mostly like a 14-inch laptop rather than a 15.6-inch laptop, because of less weight and less space consumption.

And as comes to screen resolution, the Lenovo ThinkPad E14 has Full HD (1920X1080) screen resolution with an IPS display.

The IPS display panels have better viewing angles and color reproduction than other display types.

Processor & Processor Speed:

This Lenovo ThinkPad E14 laptop has an Intel Core i5 processor, which is more than sufficient for all types of users.

The Intel Core i5 processor can also handle medium level gaming and medium level video editing works.

This laptop can also handle multi tasks without getting stressed. If you are a frequent gamer and you are buying a laptop for gaming, then this laptop might not suit you.

Because this laptop is only for normal gamers, but high-level gamers need at least an Intel Core i7 processor to handle the high-level gaming.

If you play twice a week for 1/2 hour then you can buy a laptop with an Intel Core i5 processor. But if you play games daily for 3 to 5 hours a day, then the Intel Core i5 processor can’t handle the gaming.

The Intel Core i7 processor laptop is perfect if you play games daily. These i7 processor laptops can easily handle stressful works like games and high video editing works.

As we come to processor speed, the Lenovo ThinkPad E14 laptop has a 1.6 GHz base speed which can go up to a 4.2 GHz max processor speed.

The processor speed of 1.6 GHz is sufficient for normal works, but when we go with multi-tasks at the same time then there is a bit of delay in responding. This delay might not noticeable in normal works.

Memory:

The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 has a memory of 8 GB RAM. The 8 GB RAM can also handle gaming, editing works, and multi-tasks at the same time.

But my recommendation is to pick 16 GB RAM, those who play games daily and doing heavy video editing works for better performance.

If you do these heavy works in 8 GB RAM, then sometimes the laptop may hang (or) bash. Because of this bash, the laptop may not give you as effective performance as you are expecting.

Sometimes the laptop may get some warm while doing heavy works. This heating may decrease your laptop’s life span.

To avoid this better to prefer a 16 GB RAM laptop for heavy works.

Storage:

The Lenovo brand offers you 1 TB HDD + 128 GB SSD storage capacity in Lenovo ThinkPad E14.

Most of the people don’t know the difference between HDD and SSD storage and also most of the people only think about the storage size like 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.

Before buying any laptop don’t think about the size of the storage, you must check storage type later you can check storage size.

The main difference between SSD and HDD storage type is the way of storing data.

In the HDD, there are some moving parts like a disk to store data, and in SSD, there are no moving parts to store the data, all the information is stored in chips.

Storing data in chips is very easy and it is faster as compared with the hard drive. The heat will generate in HDD because of the rotating disk as we come to SSD no heat will be generated.

My recommendation is to choose an SSD storage type with a 512 GB storage size. If you are a normal user and don’t need much storage, then you can choose SSD with 256 GB storage size.

Battery Life:

The battery life is also one of the important specifications and everyone must check before buying a laptop.

The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 has a battery life of up to 12 hours. For normal users, the laptop may survive up to 12 hours.

For medium-level users, the Lenovo e14 can survive up to 9 hours, and as we come to multi-tasks or any games, then the Lenovo e14 can survive up to 6–7 hours.

Weight:

For most of the users, the weight of the laptop doesn’t matter at all. But some users will check the weight of the laptop before buying.

The users who travel so much prefer the fewer weight laptops instead of more weight laptops. The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 comes with a 1.69 kg weight, which is a lightweight laptop.

It completely depends upon your choice to pick a light weight laptop or a more weight laptop. My recommendation is to pick a light weight laptop like Lenovo E14.

Graphics Card:

Mostly, gamers prefer graphics cards. Having a high-end graphics card gives some real gaming experience.

The Lenovo E14 offers you an integrated graphics card, if you need a laptop under Rs 60,000 and you don’t need any graphics card, then the Lenovo E14 is the best pick.

Finger Print & Backlit Keyboard:

The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 offers you a fingerprint lock & a backlit keyboard. These features make the laptop bit attractive.

Connectivity & Ports:

The Lenovo E14 offers you Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options, and it has multiple ports like USB, Type-C, USB 2.0, USB 3.1, and a Headphone jack.

Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Pros & Cons:

Pros:

  • The Intel Core i5 processor is the first best thing in Lenovo E14.
  • The battery life is 12 hours which is more than sufficient.
  • Lenovo E14 provides a fingerprint lock and a backlit keyboard which looks attractive.
  • The 8 GB RAM is sufficient for all types of users.

  • This laptop doesn’t have a high-end graphics card.
  • The processor speed 1.6 GHz, which looks a bit slow while doing multi-tasks.
  • The Lenovo E14 offers you HDD storage instead of SSD storage.
